On 28 Safar 1447 equivalent to 22 August 2025, Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah presented a total donation of BND42,050.00 to a total of ten families involved in fires and natural disasters; Ar-Razaq Kifayah Management; and Kampong Penapar Mosque, Mukim Tanjong Maya Tutong. The donation presentation ceremony was held at the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Foundation Headquarters, Jalan Perdana Menteri.
The contributions presented are as follows:
1. Contribution to Fire and Natural Disaster Victims.
In line with its establishment policy, Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah continues to carry out charitable activities, especially helping those who need it most.
Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah presented a total financial contribution amounting to BND14,250.00 to ten families involved in house fires and natural disasters in several villages nationwide.
This donation is an immediate assistance intended to ease the burden of the families of the victims involved in continuing their daily lives.
2. Contribution to Ar-Razaq Kifayah Management.
Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah presented a financial contribution of BND6,000.00 to Ar-Razaq Kifayah Management for the purpose of sponsoring part of the expenses to hold the Brunei Young Leaders Convention 2025 from 9 September 2025 to 11 September 2025.
This donation is supported by Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah to support one of the objectives of its establishment, which is to enhance the involvement and participation of youth in community development through the organisation of community and socio-cultural development programmes.
The donation was received by Dayangku Fatin Nur'Masayuni Safwana binti Pengiran Roslan, Chairperson of the Young Youth Leaders Convention.
3. Donation to Kampong Penapar Mosque, Mukim Tanjong Maya Tutong.
In an effort to support the role of mosques and provide facilities to the community, especially in matters of death, Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah has donated a financial contribution amounting to BND21,800.00 to the Kampong Penapar Mosque, Mukim Tanjong Maya, Tutong District, for the construction of a mortuary management room at the mosque.
The donation was received by Awang Mohd Abd Wafiy bin Haji Abd Kadiroshman, Imam of the Kampong Penapar Mosque, Mukim Tanjong Maya, Tutong District.
All financial contributions of Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah were presented by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi bin Haji Awang Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports as well as Members of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Committee to Examine Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah's Aids.
Also present was Yang Mulia Dr. Nor Imtihan binti Haji Abdul Razak, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Development as the Acting Managing Director of Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah.
